Looking for a fun group, and a chance to make great new friends, come join the St. Vincent ACES Senior Club. Never a "so-so" moment here. We meet on the second Thursday of the month at 11:00 am for lunch, fellowship, entertainment, and fun. You do not have to be a member to attend. We welcome 45+ young to join us as paying guests until you reach eligibility for full membership at age 50 (either you or your spouse). Membership dues are only $10.00/pp per year. Our buffet lunch never sends you home hungry. We celebrate our love of God for the wonderful life he allows us to enjoy each day. We provide a welcoming setting, great food, wonderful entertainment, and informative guest speakers. Our meetings offer chances at door prizes and drawings. Luncheons are monthly, but we take a day and extended trips several times per year. Join us for lunch as a visitor, and you will become a regular.

This ministry seeks to build bridges of understanding, mutual respect, and charity among the Christian believers in Charlotte. We promote an understanding of Ecumenism within the parish by promoting dialogue between competent experts from different churches to explain the distinct teachings of each communion in greater depth. We also promote participation in common prayer and activities among Christian believers in our local community. This includes encouraging participation in the annual Community Thanksgiving Service (which our parish hosts on a rotational basis) and other events supported by the Park-Sharon Association of Churches.

The lector ministers to the community of St. Vincent's by proclaiming the Word of God at liturgical celebrations. Lectors are trained to be "Proclaimers of the Word" as well as to prayerfully offer the community's intentions at the liturgical celebrations. Anyone interested in this ministry should be a parishioner of St. Vincent's and a practicing Catholic. He or she should feel comfortable speaking in front of people and have a good, strong speaking voice.
